Frequently asked questions

I don't know anything about AI. Will I understand all this?

You don’t need to have any experience with AI, or even know what it is. We will start from the beginning, breaking down the complex concepts of AI, and demonstrate how you can put it to work immediately on tasks you do every day. You’ll apply skills that can be used with any one of the popular, free-to-use generative AI tools available today, including ChatGPT and Claude. Once you understand the foundations, we’ll take a look at more specialized AI business applications, and consider whether they are worth the cost.

What equipment do I need to complete the training missions?

You’ll need a device that can access the internet, and a free account for a general purpose AI assistant like ChatGPT 3.5 or Claude. That’s it! Most of our exercises will work on a smartphone or a tablet, and we have an app you can download from the App Store or the Play Store. But, we do recommend you use a desktop or a laptop for some exercises, especially the hands-on projects, as some features will be limited on mobile.

What if I need help with the missions?

You can ask our expert AI “navigators” for help any time! They are actual humans, so they will get back to you as soon as they can — usually within a day.

What's the big deal with AI anyhow?

Quite frankly, generative AI is still really frustrating to work with at times. It will occasionally generate complete and utter nonsense. Sometimes, it can’t even get the right answer to a simple question, like “what is two plus two?”

So, you might be asking yourself, why is there so much hype about generative AI? Because it really does have the potential to help us tackle some big problems, both at a personal level and on a much broader scale. Life has kept getting more and more complicated for most of us, and the world is increasingly complex. We could all use some big solutions to match our big problems.

Most of us can benefit from having technology take over the burden of mundane tasks, that take your time away from more important things. Most of us would love to have an assistant who can find the information we need right now, in the moment, and then have a conversation with us about it. One that never gets tired, and is always ready to provide a fresh perspective. AI can be a partner who helps us maximize our human potential. The first step on this path is to learn what AI is, and what it can do!

How do I get started?
